The Challenge
Amongst the plaudits on the SS24 Marvel Collection was the complaint from younger consumers that MTG didn’t offer enough stuff for them. For FW24 we wanted to expand MTG’s storytelling for younger consumers.
Marvel is an endless fountain of stories, and memorable characters, but ultimately tie-ins with movie releases are a must in any product collection. Both Deadpool vs Wolverine and Venom 3 were being released in season.
MCU is a Must
Cross-merchandising isn´t always a one-to-one relationship. Deadpool and Venom 3 are R-rated movies but with the right mix of products, there was an opportunity to sell a larger assortment of Marvel for younger fans.
